CHAPTER 444.
AN ACT for the benefit of the Peabody Institute in
the City of Baltimore.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Librarian of the State of Mary-
land be and he is hereby directed to send to the
Peabody Institute of the City of Baltimore, a copy
of every volume of the law journals, reports-and.
other publications of the State, of which there are
duplicates in the library, and to continue to supply the
same to said Institute annually hereafter.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 445.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
Thomas J. Twilley, tax collector for Sharpstown
district, in Wicomico county, for overpayment
into the Treasury for the years eighteen hundred
and sixty-eight and nine.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller be and is hereby
directed to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer to
pay Thomas J. Twilley thirty-nine dollars and sixty-
five cents, the amount due him as certified to by the
Comptroller and Treasurer, for overpayment into
the Treasury.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
