clerical mistake, from the Act passed at January
session, eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter four
hundred and seventy-seven; provided, the said Samuel
Lutz and Sarah A. Sook shall comply with the re-
quirements of the proviso contained in the second
section of the said Act.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 439.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
John Feast for labor done and materials furnished
in improving the grounds within the enclosure of
the Governor's Mansion.
SECTION 1. -Be it enacted by tile General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sum of five hundred and fifteen
dollars and seventy cents be and the same is hereby
appropriated to pay John Feast for labor done and
materials furnished in improving the grounds -within
the enclosure of the Governor's Mansion, and the
Comptroller is hereby directed to issue his warrant
upon the [the] Treasurer, payable to the order of
John Feast, for the same.
SEC. 2. And he it enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
