SEC. 2. Awl be it enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of said county shall not allow to the said
State's Attorney any compensation for any purpose
other than the amount specified in this Act, which
said amount shall be in lien of all trial fees and
other extra services, except where the criminal or
criminals shall he charged with a capital offence, in
which case the State's Attorney shall receive such
additional compensation as the judge or judges pre-
siding at the trial shall certify to he just and proper.
SEC. 3. And be if enacted, That all Acts inconsistent
with tills law are hereby repealed.
SEC. 4. And he it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of April, eighteen hundred
and seventy-two.
Approved April 1st, 1872.

trial fees.
Repealed.
In force.

 

CHAPTER 438.
AN ACT to provide for the payment to Samuel
Lutz and Sarah A. Sook, of Washington county,
of arrears of pension lost by the accidental omis-
sion of their names from the Act passed at Janu-
ary session, eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter
four hundred and seventy-seven.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State Treasurer, upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, he and he is hereby autho-
rized and directed to pay to Samuel Lutz, a soldier
of the war of eighteen hundred and twelve, and to
Sarah A. Sook, a widow of a soldier of the war of
eighteen hundred and twelve, and former pensioners
of this State, each the sum of one hundred and
twenty dollars, being the amount of the arrears of
pension to which each of them would have been
entitled if their names had not been omitted, by
