CHAPTER 435.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments
section twenty-four of article ninety-four, title
" Treasurer," of the Code of Public General Laws.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the twenty-fourth section of article
ninety-four, title " Treasurer," of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, be and the same is hereby repealed,
and re-enacted BO as to read as follows:
24. The Treasurer of the State shall record all
State coupons that have been or may hereafter be
paid and returned to the treasury by the agents em-
ployed to pay the interest on the public debt, and
shall, together with the Comptroller, at the close of
every month, examine and burn all such coupons that
have been recorded, and shall make a report of their
proceedings, showing the amount of the value of such
coupons, to the Legislature at each session thereof.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 436.
AN ACT to regulate the pay of State's Attorney for
Prince George's county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the State's Attorney for Prince
George's county shall receive the sum of fifteen dol-
lars in each and every case in which he shall appear
for the State in said county, and that the same shall
be in addition to the appearance fee as is now fixed
by law, in each and every case in which he shall
appear as aforesaid.
