The petition of Elisha Gorsuch, aged 81 years, soldier of"
the war of 1812, to be restored to the State pension roll.
Which, were severally read and referred to the Commit-
tee on Pensions..
Mr. dark, of Montgomery, presented the petition of Ann
P. Connell, widow of James Connell, a soldier of the war of
1812, asking to be placed on the pension rolls.
Also,
The petition of Matilda Riley, to be placed on the list of
pensioners of the war of 1812.
Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.
Mr. Chapman presented the petition of Leonard S. Robey,
a soldier of the war of 1812, residing in Charles county,.
praying a pension.
"Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
Mr. Hilton, presented the petition of William Sayers, of
Montgomery county, for pension, war of 1812.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
nons.
Mr. Parker, presented the petition of W. S. Dickinson,.
and ninety-seven other citizens of Worcester county, praying
the passage of law to mitigate (he evils of intemperance,
similar to the Ohio law of 1870.

Mr. Linthicum, presented the petition of Rebecca Wilson,
of Howard county, widow of Andrew Wilson, deceased, a
soldier of the war of 1812; asking for a pension.

ions.
Mr. 'Chaisty, presented the petition of Jacob B. Hammond,
and others, asking that an Act may be passed, making a.
breach of trust a criminal offence.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.
Mr. Miller, presented the petition of Richard Vansant,
and fifty-six others, of Frederick and Carroll counties, pro-
testing against a law authorizing Wm. H. B. Dorsey, to.
