Por- ter, Coles, Young, of Alle., Robinette, Lamotte, L. A. J., Polk, Lamottee, H. H., Linthicum, Johnson, Langrell—78. Mr. Wilmer presented the petition of William Welch and. two hundred and forty-nine others, against the passage of any law against the grilling Of fish in waters bordering on Kent county. Which was read, and referred to the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries. Mr. Ardinger presented the petition of Addison 8. Munsell and eighty-two other citizens of Williamsport, Washington county, praying for an Act to amend the corporation laws of said town. Which was read, and referred to the Washington delega- tion. Mr. Langrell presented the petition of H. T. Parsons and one hundred and twenty other citizens and property holders of Salisbury, Wicomico county, praying the repeal of the present corporation law. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor- porations. Mr. H. H. Lamotte presented the petition of John Abbott, aged 78 years, soldier of the war of 1812, to be restored to the State pension rods. 21 |
