lars, warrants and other books for the Comptroller's
office, two thousand five hundred dollars; for the
contingent fund of the library, including the expense
of postage, porterage and freight, stationery, for use
of office, menial services, advertising and printing,
six hundred dollars; to the librarian for distributing
laws, documents and journals, one hundred and fifty
dollars; for the augmentation of the library, two
thousand five hundred dollars; for the cost of print-
ing the annual report of the Comptroller, one thous-
and dollars; for the expense of advertising the list
of foreign insurance agents, five hundred dollars;
for the expense of fuel and lights for the Public
Buildings and grounds, three thousand dollars, to he
disburse under the supervision of the Secretary of the
Senate; for the contingent fund of the Commission-
ers of the Land Office, four hundred dollars; for the
postage of the Executive and Treasury Departments,
the Land Office, the Secretary of the Senate and
Chief Clerk of the House of Delegates, one thous-
and five hundred dollars; for additional temporary
clerical assistance in the Comptroller's office, and
traveling expenses of Comptroller in performance
of duties imposed by law, or so much thereof as
may be necessary, two thousand five hundred dollars;
for Chief Clerk of the House and Secretary of the
Senate, for the publication of the laws of present
session of the General Assembly, three hundred dol-
lars each; to librarian for purchasing stationery,
one hundred and fifty dollars; for contingent ex-
penses of the Court of Appeals, three hundred dol-
lars.
BALTIMORE CITY.
To the members of the Appeal Tax Court of Balti-
more city, (fifty dollars each) one hundred and fifty
dollars; to the Register of Baltimore city, three hun-
dred dollar;-,; to the Maryland Penitentiary for so much
on account salary of its officers, eight thousand dol-
lars; for the support of the Maryland Penitentiary,
forty thousand dollars; to the House of Refuge,
fifteen thousand dollars; for the Maryland Industrial
