extending into Baltimore county, shall be perpetually
closed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That tills Act shall take
effect from the day and date of its passage.

CHAPTER 364.
AN ACT making further appropriations for the sup-
port of the Government for the year ending De-
cember thirty-first, eighteen hundred and seventy-
two.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the. General Assembly of
Maryland, That the following sums of money, or so
much thereof' as may be necessary, for the expendi-
ture in support of the Government for the year end-
ing December thirty-first, eighteen hundred and
seventy-two, be and the same are hereby appropri-
ated, that is to say:
MILITIA.
For the salary of the Adjutant General of Militia,
two thousand dollars; provided, the said sums of
money be paid out of the appropriation to be made
by the General Assembly for the support of the mil-
itia; for the payment of pensions granted by Acts and
resolutions of the General Assembly, sixty thousand
dollars; for the support of the Militia, twenty-five
thousand dollars, to be expended under the super-
vision of the Governor, in accordance with the pro-
vision of the Act of eighteen hundred and seventy.
CONTINGENT FUND.
To the Executive for the contingent fund provided
in the Constitution to be placed at his disposal,
seven thousand five hundred dollars; for the contin-
gent of the Treasury Department, fifteen hundred
