trees off of said public grounds, nor deaden them,
under the penalty of five dollars for each and. every
offence.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That no offensive or
putrid vegetable or animal matter or substance, shall
be permitted to be cast or thrown upon any of the
lots, streets, lanes, alleys or enclosures in the said.
town of Franklin, to endanger the health and lives
of or annoy any of its inhabitants, under the penalty
of two dollars for each and every offence, and the
further penalty of two dollars for each and every day
the same shall be continued, after notice, by any
owner of property or inhabitant of the town, being
given in writing to the offending party to remove
the game.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That it shall not be lawful
for any person or persons to obstruct in any way or
manner -whatever, any of the streets, lanes or alleys,
of the said town of Franklin, as laid down in the
said plat of the town, so as to prevent a free passage
along, over and. through, the same, under a penalty
of three dollars for each and every offence, and the
additional sum of one dollar for every hour any such
obstruction shall be permitted to remain, after notice
to remove the same by any one whose passage may
so as aforesaid be obstructed.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That all the fines and
penalties under the provisions of this Act shall be
recoverable in the name of the State of Maryland,
in an action of debt before a single Justice of the
Peace, and paid over to the School Commissioners,
for the benefit of the public schools in the first elec-
tion district of Baltimore county.
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That all acts inconsistent
with this Act, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
affect from the date of its passage.
