308 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 7,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act passed
at January Session, 1858, chapter 410, entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Mineral Hill Mining Company, of Maryland,
by adding the following additional sections thereto, authoriz-
ing a reduction of the capital stock of the said Company, by
the cancellation of forfeited stock.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Young, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture,
reported favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 17, of Article
CXVI. of the Code of Public General Laws, and to re-enact
the same, with amendments.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Miller, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article XI. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Frederick County," requiring certain duties of the
County Commissioners and County Collector of said county,
in regard to any sum or sums of money which is, or shall
be, appropriated for the use of any person or persons in said
county, and not paid over to such person or persons during
the term of office of said County Collector; said section to
come in after section 349, and. to be section 350 of said.

Mr. Sparrow, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
A bill, entitled an Act to add the following sections to
Article V. of the Code of Public Local Laws for Calvert
county, under the head of "Collection of Taxes," and pro-
vided for the collection of State and County taxes in the said
county, and for the appointment of a county Treasurer,
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Baldwin, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act repeal, amend and re-enact chapter
361, passed at January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to
authorize the County Commissioners of Harford county to
sell a part of the Poor House Farm, and to erect suitable
buildings for the use of the paupers of said county, and to
levy a sum of money for that purpose.
