A bill, entitled an Act to amend Article XLV. of the Coda
of Public General Laws, by adding thereto the following
sections relating to Married Women.
The report was adopted.
Also, unfavorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to amend section 1, Article XLV.,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Husband and
Wife."
The report was adopted.
Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
The Senate bill entitled a Supplement to an Act to incor-
porate the Lutheran Congregations of Saint Paul's, Christ's
Lutheran Church, Spirit Matthew's Lutheran Church, and
Mount Zion's Lutheran Church, in Frederick county, pasted
at the December Session, 1849, chapter 310.
Which was read a second time.
Also, favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 16 of the
Act passed at December Session, 1846, chapter 37, entitled
an Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company of
Washington county, and amend and re-enact the said 16th
section, aod to repeal the 10th section of the Act passed at
January Session, 1870, chapter 439, entitled an Act to amend
an Act passed at December Session,-1845, chapter 37, entitled
an Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company of
Washington county, and the several Acts supplementary
thereto and amendatory thereof, and to amend aad re-enact
the said 10th section.

Also, favorably,
The Senate bill, entitled a supplement to an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Maryland State Bible Society,
passed at December Session, 1842, chapter 290, and to change-
the name of said corporation to the Maryland Bible Society.
