Mr. Smith, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal chapter 129, of the Laws
passed at the January Session, 1870, and to re-enact the
same, with amendments, relating to the taking of oysters
with scoops in the waters of Fishing Bay and Honga Hirer,'
in Dorchester county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Turner, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and 4, of an
Act to amend the charter of the Green Spring Avenue Com-
pany, passed January Session, 1864, and to re-enact the
same, with amendments, so as to read as follows.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Miller, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners for Frederick county to subscribe to the capital stock
of the Liberty, Johnsville and Pipe Creek Turnpike Road
Company, the Liberty and New Windsor Turnpike Road
Company, the Frederick and Buckeystown Turnpike Road
Company, in Frederick county, and such other Turnpike
companies whose roads have heretofore been constructed, or
are now in process of construction in said county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Whitson, Chairman of a Select Committee reported
favorably, the
Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal an Act, passed at Jan-
uary Session, 1870, chapter 11, entitled an Act to repeal
section 204, of Article XXI. of the Code of Public Local
Laws for Washington county, relating to Justices of the
Peace and Constables in said county, and to amend and re-
enact said section 204, Article XXI. of the said Code, to
read as follows.

Mr. Smith, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend the Act passed at
January Session, 1858, chapter 301, entitled an Act to in-
corporate and endow the Cambridge Female Academy, so as
to change the name of the corporation to that of the Cam-
bridge Female Seminary.
