SEC. 5. And be it enacted. That after the erection of
a poor house on said farm to be purchased as afore-
said, and after the same shall have been prepared for
use, the County Commissioners aforesaid shall re-
quire, whenever they may deem just, those indigent
persons who receive pensions by county assessment
to relinquish the same, and repair to the protection
which may be offered by said poor house hereby
authorized to be established, and if such persons,
[who] so require, shall refuse or neglect to comply,
they shall be debarred such pension by county
assessment.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted. That sections twelve,
thirteen, fourteen, fifteen and sixteen, of article
twenty-one of the Code of Public Local Laws, titled
Washington county, and sub-title Almshouse, be and
the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 312.
AN ACT making further appropriations for the
support of the Government, for the year ending
the thirty-first day of December, eighteen hundred
and seventy-three.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the (-General Assembly of
Maryland, That the following sums of money, or so
much thereof as may be necessary for the expendi-
ture in the support of the Government, for the year
ending the thirty-first day of December, eighteen
hundred and seventy-three, be and the same are
hereby appropriated, that is to say:
MILITIA.
For the salary of the Adjutant General of Militia,
two thousand dollars; to the armory at -Easton, three
hundred dollars; provided, the said two sums of
