S FACTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Treasurer of the State of Mary-
land on presentation of the proper certificate from
the Comptroller of the State, be and he is hereby
ordered to pay unto the said Frederick Raine the sum
of three thousand one hundred and fifty-one dollars
-and fifty cents, for the publication of the laws of the
session of the General Assembly of Maryland of
-eighteen hundred and sixty-eight.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted That tins Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
Approved April 1, 1872.

CHAPTER 307.
AN ACT to make valid and to carry into effect the
bequest contained in the last will and testament of
Isaac Sterling, late of Somerset county, deceased,
in favor of the Trustees of Asbury Methodist
Church, near Crisfield, in Somerset county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the bequest to the Trustees of thel
Asbury Metliodist Episcopal Church, near Crisfield,1
in Somerset county, made by the last will and testa-
ment of Isaac Sterling, late of Somerset county, de-
ceased, be and the same is hereby ratified and con-
firmed, and made valid and of due effect in law, and
the said trustees or a majority thereof, shall have full
power to receive and dispose of the sum therein
mentioned, in such manner as may be necessary to
carry out the Intentions of said last will and testa-
ment.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
