CHAPTER 288.
AN" ACT to incorporate the Trustees of the Parson-
age property of Princess Anne Circuit of the Me
thodist Episcopal Church.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Benjamin II. Foxwell, Henry P.
White, John A. Elzey, William F. Robinson, Isaac
Wilson, William W. Evans, and James T. Daniels
and their successors in office forever be and they are
hereby created and ordered a body corporate, under
the name of the Trustees of the Parsonage property
of the Princess Anne Circuit of the Methodist Epis-
copal Church, with power to use a corporate seal, to
sue and be sued.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the title to all
property heretofore held, by any person or persons,
in trust as parsonage property for said circuit, and
all property hereafter acquired for the same uses, be
and the same is hereby vested in the said corporation,
hereby created, with full power to [to] sell and convey
the same either by the deed of a majority of the mem-
bers of the said corporation, over their own hands
and seals as such trustees, or by an attorney ap-
pointed by said corporation for that purpose, under
their official seal.
SEC. 3. And be 'it enacted. That vacancies occurring
from time to time in said Board of Trustees or said
coporation, shall be filled in accordance with such
rule as may be adopted by said corporation, or as
may be provided for by the rules of the said Metho-
dist Episcopal Church.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted. That said corporation may
acquire and hold property for the use aforesaid, to
the amount of ten thousand dollars.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
