CHAPTER 286.
AN ACT to legalize and confirm the acts of the
County Commissioners of Baltimore county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Mart/land, That all and every act of the County
Commissioners of Baltimore county, in the sale of
the old Almshouse property, and the purchase from
John Galoway of a property for a site for a new
Almshouse for said county, be and the same are
hereby legalized, confirmed and declared valid.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 287.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Loudon Park
Cemetery Company, of Baltimore county, so as to
enable it to acquire land in Baltimore county, in
addition to the quantity it may now hold.
SECTION' 1. Be, it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the London Park Cemetery Com-
' pany of Baltimore county, be and the same is hereby
authorized and empowered, in addition to the land
which it may now own, to purchase or lease any
land in Baltimore county, to an extent not exceeding
ten acres, lying between the present limits of the
cemetery grounds of the said company and the Bal-
timore and Potomac Railroad, which land shall be
held and owned by it with the same powers of dis-
position and control, in all respects, as other land
now held by said company.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
