CHAPTER 279.
AN ACT to alter and amend an Act to incorporate
the Trustees of the Male Free School of Baltimore,
passed in eighteen hundred and eight, chapter
four, and the supplement thereto.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the name and style of the corpora-
tion as established by the first section of the Act of
eighteen hundred and eight, chapter four, be and the
same is hereby altered from that of the " Trustees of
the Male Free School of Baltimore," to that of the
" Trustees of the Male Free School and Colvin Insti-
tute of Baltimore," and by the latter of said names.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the power vested.

that they may admit pupils into the said school of
such age, and prescribe such a course of studies as
may in their judgment best promote and perpetuate
the interests of said school, and may exercise all
such other necessary power for the promotion of said
interests, that they may deem best.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
lake effect from the date of its passage.
