Commissioners; and said Commissioners shall have
the further power to designate the place of holding
the election polls in all election districts hereafter to
lie established in said county.
SEC. 2. And be. it enacted. That this Act shall take
'effect from and after the date of its passage, and all
Acts of Assembly or parts of Acts of Assembly,
heretofore passed, inconsistent with this Act, be and
the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 257.
AN ACT to repeal sections one, two, five, six, nine
and eleven of article** of the Code of Public
General Laws, entitled " Small Pox," and to re-
enact the same with amendments, and to repeal
section ten of said article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
-Maryland, That sections one, two, five, six, nine and
eleven of article** of the Code of Public General
"Laws, entitled "Small Pox," be and the same are here-
by repealed, amended and re-enacted, as amended,
and section ten of said article is hereby repealed.
SEC. 1. A State Vaccine Agency is hereby estab-
lished; said agency to be located in the City of Bal-
timore, in which place shall be kept, at all times, a
supply of fresh and pure vaccine virus, if practica-
ble, not more than four removes from the cow, for
tun use of the physicians residing and practicing
medicine and surgery in this State.
SEC. 2. The Governor, by and with the advice and
consent of the Senate, shall, once in six years, ap-
point as State Vaccine Agent, one physician of good
