two years, and the third class for three years; any
vacancy occurring in said board shall be filled in the
manner prescribed by the constitution of said society,
and the person appointed to fill said vacancy shall
hold his office for the term of three years.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said Board of
Managers shall have full power to make all rules for
their own government and the government of the
home provided for the children.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the whole estate
aforesaid, whether real, personal or mixed, shall be
managed by the said board, and all moneys shall be
disbursed by them in accordance with the rules they
shall adopt, and they shall have power to collect all
rents, incomes or dividends which may accrue from
said estate, and they shall, every six months, report
to the Young Catholics' Friend Society.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted. That they shall have
power to elect such officers as they may find neces-
sary for their board, and in the house, and to pre-
scribe the duties of each.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That they shall have
power to sell or lease whenever it shall be deemed-
necessary by three-fourths in number of said Board
of Managers, any of the real or leasehold property
held by them for the purpose of said Children's Aid
Society, and to secure the same in ground-rents or
other security as they deem best. They shall have
and use a common seal, may sue and be sued in law
or equity.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted. That the Dolan's Aid
Society, under the charge of the Young Catholics.''
Friend Society, may exercise all the powers conferred
by law upon any other Children's Aid Society in the
City of Baltimore.
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That tills Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
