CHAPTER 205.
AN ACT to Incorporate the Board of Managers of
the Dolan Children's Aid Society, under the charge
of the Young Catholics' Friend Society of Balti-
more.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the:
present General Assembly of Maryland to confirm
the bequest of the Rev. James Dolan, deceased, late
of Baltimore city, to the Young Catholics' Friend
Society of said city, for the purpose of establishing a
Children's Aid Society; and whereas, it is necessary,
in order to carry out the charitable design of the said
testator, that a Board of Managers, to be composed
of the members of said society, should be appointed
and be created a body corporate:
SECTION 1. Be it therefore enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland, That Bolivar D. Panels, Dr.
Denis, J. McKew, Joseph S. Heuisler, John T.
Piquett, Joseph Fink, John Harley, John Wicker-
sham, Adolf Stork, Michael Wellinger, Luke Cas-
sidy, Edward Flaherty, and John Nunan, members
of the Young Catholics' Friend Society, and their
successors, members of said society, be and they are
hereby declared a body corporate, under the name
and style of the Board of Managers of the Dolan
Children's Aid Society, and as such to hold the
estate so bequeathed to said society, and for said
purpose they may hold any other property, in all not
to exceed the amount of one hundred thousand
dollars, either by purchase, gift, devise or bequest.
SEC. 2. And he it further enacted. That the Arch-
bishop of Baltimore and the President of said society
shall be ex-officio members of said board, but shall
have no vote in said board.
SEC. 3. And he It enacted. That the members of said
hoard shall hold their office for three years, provided,
however, the members of the first board shall be
divided into three classes, and which shall be deter-
mined by ballot, the first class to hold their positions
for one year, the second class shall hold the same for
