LAWS OF MARYLAND.
SECTION 1. -Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Act of Incorporation of Mechan-
icstown, Frederick county, Maryland, passed Feb-
ruary thirteenth, eighteen hundred and thirty-two,
chapter one hundred and eleven, and the supple-
ments thereto, and section one hundred, and. ninety-
three, one hundred and ninety-four, one hundred
and ninety-five, one hundred and ninety-six, one
hundred and ninety-seven, one hundred and ninety-
eigirt, one hundred and ninety-nine, two hundred,.
two hundred and one, two hundred and two, two
hundred and three, two hundred and. four, two hun-
dred and five, two hundred and six, two hundred
and seven, two hundred and eight, two hundred and
nine, two hundred and ten, two hundred and eleven,
two hundred and twelve, of article eleven, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, be and the same are
hereby repealed, and that the Act of Assembly,
passed January session, eighteen hundred and
seventy, chapter ninety-eight, be considered in lieu
thereof.
SEC. 2. Be It enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Act, passed January session,.
eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter ninety-eight,
incorporating Mechanicstown, Frederick county,
Maryland, he and the same is hereby made valid in
law, and that all Acts and ordinances made and done
by the said commissioners and their successors, com-
posing the said board of commissioners, shall and
the same are hereby made good and valid in law.
SEC. 3. -Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all acts, contracts, deeds, or ordi-
nances of the said commissioners of Mechanicstown,
heretofore made, done, executed, or passed, in refer-
ence to the closing, discontinuance, and paving of
any street, lane or alley in said town, or any other
duty provided for in the provisions of the Act of
incorporation, be and the same are hereby declared
and made operative and valid, in the same manner
as if the said commissioners had full power and.
authority to do the same at the respective times
when the same were severally done.
