County, ' requiting certain duties of the County Commis-
sioners and County Collector of said county, in regard to any
sum or sums of money which shall be, or is appropriated,
for the use of any person or persons in said county, and not
paid over to such person or persons during the term of office
of said County Collector; said section to come in after sec-
tion 349, and to be section 350, of said? Article.
On motion of Mr. Bowie,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections to intro-
duce a bill, for the registration of voters in Election District
No. 2, in Frederick county.
On motion of Mr. Spencer,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County delegation to
introduce a bill, to authorize and require the Clerk of the
Circuit Court tor Baltimore county, to record such chancery
and inquisition cases decided in said court as involve titles to
land, which have not been heretofore recorded.
On motion of Mr. Litzinger,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County delegation to
Introduce a bill, to extend the jurisdiction of Justices of the
Peace for Baltimore county, to cases of assault and battery.
On motion of Mr. Penington,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to report
a bill, authorizing the Comptroller to adjust and settle the
accounts of Benjamin F May, and others, late Grain Inspec-
tors in the City of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Groome,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill, repealing section 5 of Article XXXVII , enti-
tled " Evidence," being section 5 of chapter 109 of Acts of
1864, and re-enact a .substitute therefor.
On motion of Mr. Polk,
Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce a
"bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 11 and 12 of Article
VII. of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the ap-
pointment of the Clerk to the County Commissioners of Car-
roll County, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Porter,
Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to introduce
a, bill, entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners
of Allegany County, to correct the charges and assessments
of property of Curtin M. Grapame aud Sarah Wright, and.
have the same properly valued and entered in the Books of
