On motion of Mr. Bond,
Leave was granted to Select Committee, already appoint-
ed, to report a bill, repealing so much of Article IV. of the
Public Local Laws, as relates to the Inspection of Tobacco,
and to re-enact, the same with amendments. -'
On motion of Mr. dark, of Baltimore City,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill, to enable the Rev. Richard Fuller, of Ball,!-,
more City, to convey certain effects and property by his last
will and testament, to the Eutaw-Place Baptist Church, of"
Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Johnson,
Leave waa granted to Messrs. Johnson, Langrell and Frank-
lin, to report a bill authorizing the Trustees of the Methodist
Protestant Church, in Salisbury, Wicomico county, to sell'
and convey certain property belonging to them.
On motion of Mr. McColgan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill, incorporating the Lubricating Car Axle-
Company of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Miller,
Leave was granted to a Select Committee heretofore ap-
pointed, to introduce a bill, entitled an Act authorizing Wm.
H. B. Dorsey, of Carroll county, to close a certain piece of
road on his premises, known as the Old Buffalo road.
On motion of Mr. Sparrow,

Leave wart granted to the Committee on Corporations to-
introduce a bill. to amend the charter of the Baltimore and
Drum Point Railroad Company, by increasing the number of
the Directors of the said company.
On motion of Mr. Bowie,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections to intro-
duce a bill, to divide Election District No. 2, in Frederick
county, into four polls, and to repeal an act passed by the-
General Assembly of Maryland, on the first day of February,
in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-two, chapter 53, en-
titled an Act to divide Election District No. 2, in Frederick
county, into two polls.
On motion of Mr. Miller,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to introduce
a bill, entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article
XI. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Frederick-
