CHAPTER 149.
AN ACT for the relief of the creditors of the late
William M. Dealys, who was an insolvent debtor
at one time, and who died intestate and without
heirs, or next of kin.
WHEREAS, William M. Dealys in his lifetime, was
indebted to sundry persons in various sums of
money, and to relieve himself from the payment of
his debts, he did, on the twenty-sixth day of July,
eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, apply for the ben-
efit of the Insolvent Laws of Maryland, and he was
thereby released, and discharged from the payment
of all his debts, which were contracted by him prior
to, and up to the date of his said application, and
WHEREAS, It is expected after the payment of the
debts contracted by said William M. Dealys, since
Ills said application for the said Insolvent Laws,
there will he a surplus of money or estate left in the
possession of the administrators of said Dealys, and
it is represented that said Dealys has no next of kin
or heirs to inherit or receive any such surplus.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Man/land, That after the payment of all costs, ex-
penses, commissions, debts, and other charges,
allowed and to be allowed, and passed by the
Orphans' Court of Baltimore city, to the adminis-
trators of said deceased, and after said administrators
shall have fully administered said estate, and passed
a final administration account in said Orphans' Court,
said administrator or tire administrators of said
deceased, shall pay any and all balance or surplus
of money of said estate, to the permanent trustee of
said insolvent's estate, under said application of the
twenty-sixth day of July, eighteen hundred and
thirty nine, by the said William M. Dealye, for the
benefit of the Insolvent Laws of Maryland. After
receiving said money or estate, said trustee shall, in
pursuance of the Insolvent Laws of Maryland, now
in force, pay and distribute among the aforesaid
creditors of William M. Dealys, the money so re-
