CHAPTER 124.
AN ACT to release the sureties on the official bonds
of Charles Parker, collector of State taxes fur
Worcester county, for the years eighteen hundred
and sixty-six and eighteen hundred sixty-seven.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That John R. Franklin, Ephraim K.
Wilson, George S. Richardson and Peter D. Cottingham, sureties on the official bond of Charles Parker,
collector of State taxes for Worcester county, for the
year eighteen hundred and sixty-six, and Ephraim
K. Wilson, John R. Franklin, Thomas D. Purnell
and Peter D. Cottingham, sureties on the official
bond of Charles Parker, collector of State taxes for
Worcester county for the year eighteen hundred and
sixty-seven, be and they are hereby released from
the payment of all interest with which the said
Charles Parker, as collector aforesaid, may be charged
or chargeable, provided, that on or before the first
day of October, eighteen hundred and seventy-two,
the said sureties pay into the Treasury the amount
of the principal sums due by the said Charles Parker,
as such collector, to the State, as ascertained by the
Comptroller of the Treasury.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 125.
AN ACT entitled a supplement to the Act passed
by the General Assembly of Maryland, at Decem-
ber session, eighteen hundred and thirty-one, chap-
ter fifty-four, entitled " An Act to incorporate the
Frederick and Woodsborough Turnpike Road
Company."
SECTION 1. Be if enacted by the Genera! Assembly of
