aforesaid clerk from granting a license to any person
or persons, now selling fermented liquors or lager
beer within the aforesaid prescribed limits.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 123.
AN ACT to make valid certain bequests in the last
will and testament of Mary C. Reynolds, late of
Frederick county, deceased.
WHEREAS, Mary C. Reynolds, late of Frederick:
county, deceased, by her last will and testament,
dated the fifth day of February, eighteen hundred
and seventy, and recorded in the Office of Reg-
ister of Wills for said county; bequeathed one-fifth
of the residue of her estate to the Presbyterian Board
of Publication; one-fifth of said residue to the
Presbyterian Board of Education; one-fifth of said
residue to the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Mis-
sions; one-fifth of said residue to the Presbyterian
Board of Domestic Missions; and the remaining
one-fifth of said residue to the Presbyterian Church
in Frederick city, for building a lecture room,
therefore
SECTION 1. Be It enacted by the General Assembly of]
Maryland, That the bequests made by Mary C. Rey-'
nolds, late of Frederick county, deceased, be and the
same are hereby sanctioned, and rendered valid.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take.
effect from the date of its passage.
