CHAPTER 121.
AN ACT to repeal, amend and re-enact section
seven, of article twelve, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title " Harford county," sub-title " Alms-
house."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by tax} ie General Assembly
of Maryland, That section seven, of article twelve,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title, " Harford
county," sub-title " Almshouse," be and the same
is hereby repealed, amended, and re-enacted to read
as follows:
7. They shall allow him such annual compensation
for his services, as they may think proper, not
exceeding three hundred dollars per annum, exclusive
of the board of himself and family.
SEC. 2. And he it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect and be in force from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 122.
AN ACT to prohibit the granting of licenses for
the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager
beer, at or near the Emory Grove Camp Meeting
Association Grounds, near .Reistertown, in Balti-
more county.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That hereafter it shall not be lawful for
the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Baltimore county,
to issue a license to any person or persons to sell
spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer, nearer
the grounds of the Emory Grove Camp Meeting
Association than one mile in any direction; provided
nothing in tins Act shall be construed to prevent the
