hundred and fifty pounds weight: provided, nothing
herein contained shall be construed to prevent the
General Assembly of Maryland from altering, fixing
and controlling said price or prices whenever it may
think fit or necessary.
SEC. 6. And he it enacted. That all Acts or parts of
Acts, inconsistent herewith, be and are hereby re-
pealed.
SEC. 7. And he If enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
SEC. 8. And he it enacted, That tire General As-
sembly of Maryland reserves to itself the right, at
any time, to repeal, alter or amend this Act.

CHAPTER 103.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact section twenty-four
of article ninety-four of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title " Treasurer."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the twenty-fourth section of article
ninety-four, title "Treasurer," of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, be and the same is hereby repealed,
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
SEC. 24. The Treasurer of the State shall record
all State coupons that have been, or may hereafter
be, paid and returned to the treasury by the agents
employed to pay the interest on the public debt, and
"trail, together with the Comptroller, at the close of
every mouth examine and burn all such coupons
that have been recorded, and shall make a report
of their proceedings, showing the amount of the
value of such coupons, to the Legislature at each
session thereof.
