CHAPTER 100.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the
claim of William T. Markland and Brother for re-
building State Tobacco Warehouse in Baltimore
city, as per contract made with the Commissioner
of Labor and Agriculture.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be
and he is hereby requested and directed, to issue Ins
"warrant upon the Treasurer to pay William T. Mark-
land and Brother, six thousand six hundred and ten
dollars, the balance due them for rebuilding State
Tobacco Warehouse, No. 2, in Baltimore city, as per
contract made with the Commissioner of Labor and
Agriculture.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 101.
AN ACT to repeal section eighteen of article fifty-
six of the Code of Public Genera] Laws, entitled
"Licences," sub-title "Fisheries and Horse Races,"
and to re-enact the same so as to read as follows:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section eighteen of article fifty-
six of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Licences," sub-title "Fisheries and Horse Races,"
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so

SEC. 18. That any person carrying on a shad, her-
ring or ale-wife fishery, may obtain a license to
sell spirituous liquors and other things during the
