and forty-nine, chapter three hundred and fifty-eight,
be and is hereby changed to the Union Turnpike
Company.
SEC. 2. And he it enacted, That the capital stock of
said company be and hereby is limited to two thous-
and shares of twenty-five dollars each, or a total of
fifty thousand dollars.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That the Directors of said
company be authorized to establish a toll-gate at
Sandy Spring, and at such other places as may be
deemed best for the interest of the company.
SEC. 4. And be. it enacted. That all Laws inconsis-
tent with this Act be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from- its passage; the Legislature reserves the
right to alter, amend or repeal this Act at pleasure.

CHAPTER 83.
AN ACT to repeal chapter four hundred and fifty-
six of the Acts of eighteen hundred and seventy,
entitled " An Act to prohibit stock running at
large in and around Pikesville, in Baltimore
county."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That chapter four hundred and fifty-six,
of the Acts of eighteen hundred and seventy, en-
tied "An Act to prohibit stock running at large in
and around Pikesville, in Baltimore county," be and
the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That tins Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
