alleys, which shall be made to cross or intersect
streets, avenues and alleys leading out of said city,
as in the judgment of the said Street Commissioners
the public convenience may require; and whenever
it shall be found necessary, by reason of irregular-
ities in the outline of the City of Baltimore, to
extend the said cross streets, avenues or alleys, or
any of them beyond the limits of two miles from
the line of said city, the said Street Commission-
ers may extend and lay oft' the same to such point
as in their judgment the public convenience may
require.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of
Acts inconsistent herewith, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SEC. 8. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 79.
AN ACT to create a new Election District in Alle-
gany county.
SECTION 1. Be it enact by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Archibald McDonald, John W.
Piper and John Wilson, of AIlegany county, or a
majority of them, be and they are hereby appointed
commissioners, and authorized to review Election
District number four, in said county, and in their
discretion make such alteration and division, and
create an additional Election District, so as to better
subserve the convenience of the voters of said dis-
tricts, but said commissioners shall not locate the
northern line of said new district north of Laurel
Run, and said new Election District shall be known
as district number seventeen, and the place for hold-
ing the election therein shall be Barton.
