and empowered, whenever, in their discretion, the
public interest may require the same, to raise the
two wings of the Court House of said county, in
Rockville, to the square of the main building, and to
finish the same suitable to he occupied as rooms for
the County Commissioners, the Grand Jury or such
other purposes as tire public interest may require,
and to make such other improvements to the main
building and the wings thereof, as, in their opinion,
may be necessary and proper.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the said County
Commissioners be and they are hereby authorized
and empowered, to levy upon the assessable property
of said county a sum or sums of money sufficient to
pay the cost of said improvements and repairs.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 77.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners
of Calvert county to re-district, or increase the
number of election precincts in said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assemble of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Cal-
vert county, or a majority of them, be and they are
hereby authorized to re-district or increase the num-
ber of election precincts in said county, if, in their
judgment, it may seem needful and necessary.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
