SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That the exemption of
the capital stock of said company, as conferred by
its charter, he and tire same is hereby repealed, and
the said capital stock, as well as all bonds of said
company in the hands of the holders thereof, shall he
liable to taxation as all other property of like kind,
for State, municipal and county purposes, and the'
Legislature reserves to itself the right to change the
mode of imposing taxation on said company, as pub-
lic policy may in the future require.
SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage; the Legislature
reserves to itself the right to alter, amend or repeal
this Act at pleasure.

CHAPTER 72.
AN ACT to repeal section sixteen of article forty-
one of the Code of Public General Laws, title
" Fish and Fisheries," sub-title " Potomac."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That, section sixteen of article forty-one
of the Code of Public General Laws, title " Fish and
Fisheries," sub-tide " Potomac," be and the same is
hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
