The petition of Rachael Glenn, widow of Thomas Glenn,
asking to be restored to the State pension rolls.
Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.
Mr. Franklin presented the petition of O. L. Williams and
fifty-two other citizens of Worcester county, praying the fur-
ther passage of a law to tax the capital stock and property of
the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company.
Which was read and .referred to the Committee on Way
and Means.
Mr. Penington presented the petition of John W. Morgan,
Joseph Magill and thirteen others of the first Election Dis-
trict of Cecil county, against pasturing cattle on the public
roads.
Which was read and referred to the Cecil delegation.
Mr. Polk presented the petition of thirty-one citizens and.
tax payers, of Carroll county, asking for the relief of securi-
ties on the bond of S. R. Gore, late Collector of county taxes
in Oarroll county.
Which was read and referred to the Carroll delegation.
Mr. Mearns presented the petition of A. M, Stroutand one
hundred and forty-four other citizens of Cecil and Harford
counties, against the passage of a law against drift nets in
the Susquehanna river and Chesapeake bay.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Mr. Polk presented a petition signed by thirty-two tax
payers of Carroll county, praying for the relief of the sureties
on the bond of S. E. Gore, late Collector of county taxes in.
Carroll county.
Which was read, and referred to the Carroll delegation.
Mr. Miller presented the petition of A. H. Rinehart and
thirty-four other citizens of Frederick county, praying that
the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company be taxed.
Which was read. and referred to the Committee on Ways.
and Means.
Mr. Linthicum presented the petition of Daniel Clarke and
thirty-two other citizens of Howard county, praying the pas-
sage of a law imposing a tax on the property and. stock of the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, and all other corpo-rations in the State.
