W The House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to defray the expenses of the State Librarian in prose- cuting a mandamus to obtain possession of the Library from his predecessor, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as- follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Jump, Blake, Longwell, .Compton, Spates, Claggett, Sell man, Downs, Spencer, Dennis, Tuck, Earle, Wilson, Henry, Williams—16. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The House bill entitled an Act authorizing the payment to James Revell, State's Attorney for Anne Arundel county, the sum of $500, Being on its third reading, Mr. Tuck moved to amend the bill by striking out $500,, and insert $1,000. Which was adopted. Said bill as amended was then passed by yeas and nays, as. follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Spates, Compton, Spencer, Downs, Timmons,, Denn's, Tuck, Fields, Wilson,.
