President, Henry, Blake, ' Jump, Compton, Miller, Crawford, Spates, Claggett, Sellman, Downs, Spencer, Earle, Tuck, Fields, Wilson—16. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. On motion by Mr. Miller, The rules were suspended by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Jump Blake, Longwell, Compton, Miller, Crawford, Spates, Claggett, Sellman, Downs, Spencer, Dennis, Steiner, Earle, Timmons, Fields, Tuck, Henry, Wilson—20. NEGATIVE—None. 'When, Mr. Miller reported the following amendment: AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Strike out all of section 164, after the word "Peace," in line 17, to the end of the section. The House bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact sec tion 141 to 164, inclusive, of Article VIII. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil county, sub-title "Port Deposit.'' Which was read the second time and the amendment adopt- ed. On motion by Mr. Miller, The rules were suspended so as to give said bill a third read- ing this day, as fallows : |
