The second section of the bill as amended, was then read, and The bill, as amended, read a, second time, and ordered to be engrossed fur a third reading. The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills, severally endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays : " A bill, entitled a supplement to an Act, entitled an Act to incorporate the Hillen Road Company of Baltimore county, passed at January Session, 1854, chapter 99, and supple- ments thereto, passed at January Session, 1860, chapter 51, and at January Session, 1867, chapter 214, Which was read a first time, and referred to the Baltimore county delegation. Also, A hill, entitled a further supplement to the Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Fredericktown Savings' Institution, passed at December Session, 1827, chapter 142, of the Gen- eral Assembly of Maryland, repealing the fifth section there- of, and re-enacting the same, with amendments. Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit- tee on Corporations. Also, A bill, entitled an Act to authorize and require the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Harford county to record such chan- cery cases decided in said Court as involve titles to land, and which have not been heretofore recorded. Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit- tee on the Judiciary. Also, Returned the following bills, severally endorsed " Passed by yeas and nays." The bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 39, of Article XV., of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Montgom- ery County," relating to Justices of the Peace and Constables in said county, and to re-enact the same so as to read as fol- lows. Also, The bill, entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Boards of County Commissioners of Baltimore and Harford |
