It was decided in the affirmative.
The second section of the bill as amended, was then read,
and
The bill, as amended, read a, second time, and ordered
to be engrossed fur a third reading.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills,
severally endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays : "
A bill, entitled a supplement to an Act, entitled an Act to
incorporate the Hillen Road Company of Baltimore county,
passed at January Session, 1854, chapter 99, and supple-
ments thereto, passed at January Session, 1860, chapter 51,
and at January Session, 1867, chapter 214,
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Baltimore
county delegation.
Also,
A hill, entitled a further supplement to the Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Fredericktown Savings' Institution,
passed at December Session, 1827, chapter 142, of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, repealing the fifth section there-
of, and re-enacting the same, with amendments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.
Also,
A bill, entitled an Act to authorize and require the Clerk
of the Circuit Court of Harford county to record such chan-
cery cases decided in said Court as involve titles to land, and
which have not been heretofore recorded.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Judiciary.
Also,
Returned the following bills, severally endorsed " Passed
by yeas and nays."
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 39, of Article
XV., of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled " Montgom-
ery County," relating to Justices of the Peace and Constables
in said county, and to re-enact the same so as to read as fol-
lows.
Also,
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Boards of County Commissioners of Baltimore and Harford
