Under head of "Miscellaneous," after the word "resort,"
in line 26, insert the words "of this State."
After the word "resort," in line 26, strikeout to the word
'"for," in line 29, and insert in lieu thereof, "to Daniel M.
Thomas, for services as Auditor in said cases, the sum of five
hundred dollars."
Which were adopted.
Also, submitted the following amendments :
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Under the head of "Contingent Fund," after the word
"dollars," in line 23, insert, "for contingent expenses of the
Court of Appeals, three hundred dollars."
Under the head of "Miscellaneous," amend by inserting
in line 6, after the word "dollars," the words, "for repair-
ing the wall. fencing, gates and gas-lamps around the State
House, the gum of three hundred and fifty dollars, to be ex-
pended under the direction of the Secretary of the Senate."
Under head of "Miscellaneous," amend by adding at end
of line 19, after the word "dollars," the words, "to James
8. Franklin, Clerk of the Court of Appeals, for recording the
laws of the present Session of the General Assembly, the sum
of four hundred and fifty dollars."
Which were severally adopted.
Said bill was then read the second time.

The "rules were suspended, so. as to give said bill a third
reading this day, as follows :
