732 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 30, The House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 33 and 34, of chapter 364, of Acts parsed January Session, 1879, title " Oysters," and to re-enact the following in lieu thereof, changing the style of the Oyster Police Board, and making the Commissioner of the Land Office one of said board, Being on its third reading, Mr. Williams submitted the following amendment: Strike out section 33, and insert in lieu thereof: SEC. 33. And be it enacted, That the Governor, Treasurer and Comptroller of the Treasury, shall constitute a Board to be styled the Commissioners of the State Fishery Force. Which was rejected, by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Blake, Car roll, Crawford, Dennis, Fields, Messrs. Compton, Claggett, Downs, Earle, Henry, Longwell, NEGATIVE. Jump, Miller, Stephenson, Timmons, Williams—11. Spates, Sellman, Spencer, Tuck, Wilson—11. Said bill was then read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Compton, Carroll, Crawford, Claggett, Downs, Earle, Henry, Longwell, Miller, Spates, Sellman, Spencer, Wilson—14. NEGATIVE. Messrs. Blake, Stephenson, Dennis, Tuck, Fields, Williams—7.
