thereof and the bill laid over.
Also, reported favorably, on
The House bill to amend the .Code of Public Local Laws
relating to Landlord and Tenant, with an amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time.
Also, reported unfavorably, on
The House bill relating to transcribing the public records
in Calvert county,
And the report was adopted.
Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably, on
The House bill to add an additional section to Article
XXVII, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "costs."
Which was read the second time.
Also, from the same Committee, reported favorably, on
The House Joint Resolutions to suspend proceedings in the
case of the State of Maryland vs. Charles Frazier.
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Henry, from the game Committee, reported favorably,
on
The House bill relating to the bequest of Isaac Stirling,
late of Somerset county.
Which was read the second time.
Also, from the same Committee, reported favorably, on
The House bill relating to pleading, practice and process.
Which was read the second time.
The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of Ar-
ticle XLV., of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Hus-
band and Wife,"
Being on a third reading,
Mr. Fields moved to suspend further consideration thereof
until Monday, 12 o'clock.
Which was rejected.
Said bill was then read the third time and rejected for
want of Constitutional majority, as follows ;
