Mr. Griswold, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,. reported favorably the Senate bill, entitled an Act to make- valid certain bequests in the last will and testament of Mary C. Reynold?, late of Dorchester county, deceased. Which was read a second time. Also, favorably, The Senate bill, entitled an Act to give certain deeds, wherein the amount of unpaid purchase money may be expressed the effect of mortgage deeds, and preserve the ven- dor's lien therein, in Allegany county. Which was read a second time. Also, favorably, The Senate bill, entitled an Act giving the sanction of the- General Assembly of Maryland to certain legacies bequeathed by the last will and testament of George Williams, (colored,) late of Frederick county, deceased, to the trustees of the- Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church, in Frederick city. |
