On motion of Mr. Griswold,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to-
introduce a bill to repeal section 3 of Article XI., of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled " Attorneys-at-Law
and Attorneys in fact," and to re-enact the same with an
amendment.
Mr. Griswold, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to permit Frederick
Charles Edmund Petre, an alien, to hold leal estate.
Which was read a second time.
Mr Miller moved that the bill be read a third time this
day, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution,.
section 27, Article III.
