Also, reported unfavorably on The Senate bill, entitled a supplement to the Act relating to the Tax on Collateral Inheritances, Distributive Share, and Legacies, passed the 7th of March, 1864, chapter 200s and The report was adopted. Also, reported unfavorably on The House bill entitled an Act for the relief of William H. Manakee, of Montgomery County, and to empower the County Commissioners of Montgomery County, to hear tes- timony and re-asses 224 acres of land in said Montgomery County, formerly the property of a certain Thomas Duffy, now deceased, and The reports were adopted. Also, reported unfavorably on The Senate bill entitled an Act to release the Banks hold- ing charters under this State, from the payment of the tax of twenty per cent., imposed upon them by the respective Acts incorporating the same, and The report was adopted. Also, reported favorably on The House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claims of William Lockerman, Hugh O. Ramsay and Joshua McComas. Said bill was read the second time.
