Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, reported favorably The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Wash- ington, Montgomery, Howard and Carroll Railroad Company, with the following amendments: AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. Amend the title of the bill, line 1, strike out after the word 'the," to the word "rail." In line 2, insert the word "National." In line 2, after the word "Company," insert "of Mary- land." Sec. 1. line 3, strike out of said line to the word "rail," and insert "the National." Line 4, after "Company," insert "of Maryland." |
