Mr. Robinette presented the petition of Augustine Robinette, and one hundred and ten others, against the repeal of the owl and hawk law in Allegany county. Which was read and referred to the Allegany delegation. Mr. Linthicum presented the petition of Samuel Brown, and fifty other citizens of Howard county, asking for a change in the standard weight of oats. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Agricul- ture. Mr. Hurtt presented the petition of W. T. Hepboon, and others, asking for the weighing of grain. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inspections. Mr. Newcomer presented the petition of James Chaney, asking for her name to be placed upon the pension list.
