Mr. Miller presented the petition ofE. L. Karn and forty- two other citizens of Burkittsville, Frederick county, asking the passage of a law prohibiting swine from running at large in the town of Burkittsville. Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation. Mr. Stewart presented the petition of Eliza Barnes, widow of Bennett H. Barnes, asking to be restored to the State pen- sion rolls. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions. Mr. Cooper presented the petition of Jacob Grinder, Cash-myer Weager, O. W. Gerkir, John Schwind, Barry &- Cook, asking for pay, for armories rented to the State, and for military supplies furnished to the State of Maryland. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Militia. Mr. Whitson presented the petition of Catharine Moore,. asking for pension, Also, The petition of Samuel Creazer, asking for pension. Which were severally read and referred to the Committee- on Pensions. Mr. Cooper presented the petition of Daniel J. Albut and sixty-nine other citizens, asking abolishment of coopering ia the Penitentiary. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Manu- factures. Mr. Hurtt presented the petition of J. H. Crane, and thirty other citizens, asking for weighing of grain. Which was read and referred to the Committee on In- spections. Mr. Cooper presented the petition of Unith E. Mason, widow of Abraham Mason, asking to be restored to the pen- sion rolls. Also, The petition of Juliana Marshall, widow of Levin Marshall Asking to be placed on the pension rolls. Which were severally read and referred to the Committee- on Pensions. |
