Which was read the second time.
Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, reported.
A bill, entitled an Act to amend chapter 126, of the Acts
of 1845, passed February 13, A. D., 1846, entitled an Act
to incorporate the Trustees of Saint Patrick's School, Fell's
Point, in the City of Baltimore, and to amend aid extend.
flections 1 and 2 of said Act as follows.
Which wag read the first time.
Mr. Steiner, from a Select Committee, to which had been
referred
The House bill, entitled an Act to pay the bailiff of the
Circuit Court of Frederick county at the end of each term
of said Court,
Reported back the same with the following amendments:
Amend the title, by adding "s" to "bailiff," so that it
may read "bailiffs."
Section 1, line 4, insert "bailiffs" in lieu of "bailiff."
Which were adopted.
Said bill was then read the second time.
Mr. Davis, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
The House bill, entitled an Act to authorize and require
the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore county, to re-
cord such chancery and inquisition cases, decided in said.
- Court, as involve titles to land, and which have not been
heretofore recorded.
Which was read the second time.
Also, from a Select Committee, reported unfavorably,
The House bill, entitled an Act to extend the jurisdiction
of Justices of the Peace far Baltimore county, to casses of
Assault and battery.
And the report was adopted.
Also, from the same Committee, reported unfavorably,
The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 59, of the
Act of Assembly, passed at January Session, 1868, chapter
.328, entitled an Act to provide for the collection of taxes in
Baltimore county, and to enact the following sections in lieu
.'thereof.
And the report was adopted.
Mr. Blake, from a Select Committee, reported
