Delegates.
The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliver the following bills.
The House bill, entitled an Act to pay John O. Henry,
late first officer of the Steamer "Leila," of the Oyster Police,
a sum of money.
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee en Finance.
The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 211, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel
County," sub-title "Wild. Fowl," and to enact the following
in lieu thereof.
Which was read the first time and referred to 'Messrs-
Tuck, Jump, and Earle.
The House bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Boonsboro' Bank, in Boonsboro', Washington County,
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.
The House bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Wash-
ington, Montgomery, Howard and Carroll Railroad Company.
"Which was read. the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.
The House bill, entitled an Act to pay the claim of Wm
T. Markland & Bro.
Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.
The House bill, entitled an Act to provide for the distribu-
tion and investment of the proceeds of Bale of the Almshouse
property of Baltimore County, and of securities held by and
belonging to said County.
Which was read the first time and referred, to Messrs. Da-
vis, Steiner and Downs.
The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 13 of
Article LI., of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Justices of the Peace," subtitled "Civil Jurisdiction,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
The bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 92, of the Act
of 1868, chapter 471, relating to Corporations, and to re-
enact the game with amendments.
