Steiner, Mr. Longwell was unanimously excused from voting on said amendment. Mr. Fields moved to postpone further consideration of said bill until Tuesday next, and make it the order of the day for 1 o'clock. Which was determined in the affirmative. Leave of absence was granted to Messrs. Fields, Stephen- son, Earle, Blake and Henry, until Tuesday next. On motion by Mr. Tuck, Leave of absence was granted to the President until Mon- day next. Mr. Williams submitted the following order : Ordered, That when the Senate adjourn to-day it stand adjourned to Monday morning, 18th instant, at 12 o'clock. Which was determined in the negative. The bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Phoenix Manufacturing Company of Baltimore county, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Stephenson, Compton, Sautes, Carroll, Sellman, Davis, Spencer, Earle, Steiner, Fields, Wilson—14. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.
