The Senate bill, entitled an Act to transfer the State ap- propriation for the Elkton and Massey Railroad Company, to the Middleton and Elkton Railroad Company. Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Jump, Blake, Longwell, Compton, Miller, Carroll, Stephenson, Crawford, Spates, Denson, Sellman, Davis, Steiner, Dennis, Timmons, Earle, Tuck, Fields, Williams—21. Henry, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1870, chapter 394, entitled an Act to amend the Act of Assembly of 1867, chapter 341, relating to the valuation and assess- ment of property in this State. Mr. Fields moved a call of the Senate, when the following Senators responded : Messrs. President, Compton, Carroll, Crawford, Denson, Davis, Dennis, Earle, Fields, Henry, Jump, Longwell, Mil- ler, Stephenson, Spates, Sellman, Steiner, Tuck, Wilson, Wil- liams—21. The Sergeant-at-arms was sent to notify the absent mem- bers that their presence was required in the Senate Chamber. On motion by Mr. Davis, Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
